Wow ... what a beauty! Maybe if you just kept the machine for a little "visit", you know, gave it a test run?

I also have a White machine but not as old as yours. In doing research I found a website with tons of information and pictures and charts for dating the White machines.
Your machine was made in 1919. The dates you quote were patent dates.

I have the same machine mine is in better looking condition...but it needs to be re wired.

I learned to sew on one like that of my grandmothers', only hers was in a wooden case. It would sew anything:canvas, leather, fingers, it did it all.
