White table lamp ..... :-(

Here's another one :(

Used to be a nice machine. Wonder if it could be freed of this abnormal growth and made to sew again?

OhOhOh! Painful to see. The lady in the flea market where I got my 66-1 said I could make a lamp out of it. She saw the look of horror on my face.

That one MIGHT be able to be brought back. There will be some damage where the lamp was mounted, but plug the hole and a new spool pin might minimize it. On the plus side, the decals look pretty good and its an older VS machine. It would be worth the effort I think.

Ok - who can go pick this up? I need it for parts, I have one that is missing the plates and some of the other easily removed parts - that this one has. You could keep the lampshade and lamp parts though, I won't be needing them!

For the price absolutely. Near you?

Awesome lamp! Better than dumping it. Even though I know it should be sewing.

Oh for Heavan's sake!

That one's about 7 hours pretty easily from me. I'm not sure who's near Spokane, we have a couple members east of the mountains but I'm not sure how close. Some Goodwills have shipping places nearby that they do business with. It might not hurt to ask who's nearby that will pack and ship it.

What a shame! I don't care about it so much if the machine is really beyond repair...but this one looks like she had plenty of life left in her...
I've seen plenty of them at the craft shows...one crafter's husband makes these. I keep telling him that I better not see a GOOD machine as a lamp. Recently saw him with a Toss and Throw as a lamp...teased him that that was the BEST use I ever saw for that machine!

If that machine was near to me I'd go for it and put it back in action. Lamps and tractors = a waste of machines.
