Will you help me price a machine

I have a machine for sale on the boards and I don't know how much to ask for it. I was hoping someone would help me with pricing it. http://www.quiltingboard.com/items-s...0-t182642.html is the link to the ad. It comes with original case. Some scratches on the paint, shown in pictures. Serial number is ek030669 1954 99K.
It does not come with accessories, just the bobbin and the foot that is on it!
The machine is clean and oiled but had been in storage box for a unknown time. I don't sew or make tops, so I have no use for it as a functioning machine and I don't know her history. She does work just fine and was pretty clean when I got her.

I would appreciate any advice,
Ashley

Well............. I have two 99's.

One I paid $95 for and the other I paid $20.

Both of my machines are very clean and both are in working order.

I did not receive any attachments other than the general purpose foot and bobbin(s).

One of mine had the original owner's manual, the other one did not.

Both have complete cases. The $20 machine's case is a little musty smelling but airing it out this summer is on the list.

PS Some people prefer the 99 over Featherweight machines. The 99's are cute...... and they are not full size machines. :)

I should also add: Your machine has the 'back tack' option indicating this is a slightly newer version of the 99. The original 99's did not have the 'back tack' option.

That's interesting. Thank you!

99s are a pretty common machine. Yours is a nice one, but your price needs to come down. Try $75...but be willing to accept less...

I agree with Charlee about reducing the price...especially since most people would have to pay shipping also. I got my 99 for about $30 plus shipping, if I remember correctly. It is older in a bentwood case, but basically the same machine. I ddn't get any accessories or extra bobbins at all.

I got one for $40.00 and it worked after I cleaned it out.

I feel like such a sucker. Thanks everyone. I may just have to "eat" this one.

I saw this machine with cabinet and tons of assesories. It was in a little resellables shop in Loudenville Ohio, I didn't buy it only because i already have five machines. But i am sure someone will love to get a good buy on something like this.
