Woot Woot! Featherweigh 221K and question

Scored me a Singer 221K white (may have a green tint can't tell will have to take outside tomorrow). It came with the manual and case, and the case is in almost perfect condition (light green with cream/white trim.)

I went to a Singer UK site and ISMACS site to see what the date was for it. ISMACS didn't list it and below is what I copy and pasted from the singer UK site:

EW 061691 EW 071690 10000 6 August 1968
EY 84???? EY 99????
FA 098??? FA 132??? 1968/69
FA 202??? FA 288??? 1968/69

Mine is EY853147. As you can see, Singer UK site has no date for the EY category. The manual, however, has a copyright date of 1968. Does anyone have more info for me?

Thank you!

This is the newer style white FW (and yes, it's sort of green . . .) I have an EV from 1964, but it's not right in the database as the number shows a different model.

I also have one that is an FA- and appears to be from 1969.

One case has two latches that lock, the other had only one that does not lock.

These machines were actually called "Featherweights" by Singer. Singer made a plastic FW too. I got all excited when someone was going to show me their white FW they got from their Mom, and then they pull out this cardboard box and open it up to show me a plastic FW.

Also - they are quite different than the older style black ones. Singer made a few older white ones too - I'd love to get a hold of one of those!
