I have this wonderful Singer sewing machine. But have just started the quilting side. No where in the instruction manual doesn't it show how to drop the feed dogs to free motion quilting.
I think I have it down to two screws-but will I harm the machine if I try to drop them Thank you Kathrn I'm still using mine too. There is a small clear plastic cover that snaps on over the feed dogs for free motion work. I have mine still, but have never used it. Let me know if you can't find one. I'm a hand quilter. |
Popover I would so love to pay you for it. My beautiful daughters decided I was a hoarder and tossed a couple of totes of material.

Janey,
it did at one time but over the years and many moves the accessory box has been misplaced, along with the manual. my world. So thank you I am on the hunt. Thank you ever so much Kathryn If that doesn't work.. Instruction Manuals | Singer Sewing If you put 2010 in the search box, it should bring up several and make sure you get the Touch Tronic one. It isn't great, but better than not having one at all. Janey - Neat people never make the exciting discoveries I do. |

If it's a Singer Touch Tronic 2010 it should have come with a snap-in feed cover that covers the feed dogs. Check your manual for that type of accessory that came with your machine.
Thank you for the help. I found the clear plastic cover in the accessory box. I just never realized what it was for. |
