Maybe he held his breath too long?
I saw that one. Nice get! I almost sent the link to Soman2 for that one. I take it shipping isn't terrible from there to you. Shipping costs prevent me from bidding on a lot of machines I see on Shopgoodwill. It's around $30 to ship a machine just from Hillsboro (Portland, OR) to me and that's only 2 hours away. Hillsboro starts most of it's machines at $25 and Tacoma starts at $19.95 and is usually pickup only. I get most of my machines from the local thrifts for usually under $20.

Awesome machine Joe. Case needs some work but I'm sure you can fix that in a jiffy.

LOL Joe! enjoy and I hope we will be seeing more pics after the transformation youndo on a machine.

You're lucky that other members of this board didn't bid against you. What a pretty turquoise color.

I don't have any room for more machines either, but there are certain ones that I simply can't resist. Plus I'm gonna rehome a bunch of those I have if I have to donate them.

I've become fascinated with the blue clones, and this Rodney will make 4. If I ever run across a factory painted red one I'm in trouble. :D

Shipping is a game with GW. Many of their hubs charge outrageous prices while others do not. TN is one that doesn't. One of the FL hubs doesn't and there's one other that's good. But many of the others try to make more profit from the shipping than from the item.

Not related to the machine, although I saw it and considered it too, but I've had good luck with the Hillsboro, OR location. They shipped me a Singer 99 and bubble-wrapped the h*** out of it. The foot pedal was bubble-wrapped, the machine, the case inside and out. That machine couldn't have moved half an inch in shipping. And that is heavy! Plus their charges were reasonable.
I don't have any 15s or 15 clones... maybe I need one!

The Tacoma, WA Goodwill packs like that too.
Back when I was buying more machines every machine I bought from Tacoma would take at least 20 minutes to unpack.
Nice machine Joe. I like the colored clones too. I have a Morse and a Brother, both blue, that are virtual twins. If any of us run across a red one, there's likely to be a war over it, lol!
