Default Proble Bobblins Instead of Bobbin Problems

Is it the fault of the bobbins, or is it mine? Why is it, when handling that freshly wound bobbin that came out looking excellent with the layers of thread all neat and orderly, I seem to usually manage to drop the danged thing? ....And watch it roll under something that I’ll have to fish it out from under. And yea, I generally give a little tug on the thread to see if I can get it to ease back out from under there, only to watch it roll further and to the point that I can no longer reach it like I should have done in the first place....

I think that it’s Proble Bobblins, those sewing cousins of all of the other Problem Goblins that get such a kick out of causing grief in our lives. They have oh such a good time with us! Makes me want to take that yard stick that I had to go get to fish it out of there with, and tee that sucker off into the other end of the house! But then....I’d just have to follow the thread and go find it.....

Anybody else have trouble with Proble Bobblins?

I feel for you and I have the same issue with booblins. They invented the machines and why in the heck they made the bobbin so small. Can't they have at least made it bigger and wider? That way you don't need to have millions of bobbins to thread. Oh bobbins my bobbins where thy art thou...

Yes! Almost every time. Thumb and fingers numb from callouses and age add to the problem. Fortunately my current work area is carpeted. The carpet Inhibits rolling bobbins but troubling when rehabbing machines with grease and oil droppings.

Bobblins seem to lurk, lure and tease in the most unexpected places.
