I added 3 borders to this quilt panel and pieced the backing for it, too, using my Singer 301 that I've named "Beyonce"...because it is a caramel-colored Singer with beautiful moves!

BTW, nice job on your Blues/Whites quilt.

Does a Featherweight that my bought in the 1960's qualify as vintage? If so, I make ALL my quilts on it. My DH keeps trying to buy me a new ("fancy") machine but I just want this little gem!

Billy always told us anything from the 1970's back is vintage! So post those quilts!

Here is a picture of a wall hanging my daughter e mailed to me and said "Mom can you make this?" So next picture is my version of her picture. Made this using my 1951 Black 301 machine.

Absolutely your machine is vintage! I consider "vintage" to be a matter of opinion! LOL For sewing machines? Anything before 1990...for people? Let's not go there!
