Trish - Your wall hanging is great fun - you definitely improved the design, your dolls are much better proportioned.

Nancy - Lovely log cabin, and I can't believe how fast you are!

Nancy, love your log cabin. The colors are so bright and cheerful.

This is one of a pair of quilts I'm working on for more babies. My manager and her partner are having a little boy and a little girl, and they did the nursery in a Finding Nemo theme. I found a picture of a cute fish quilt done in strings and this is what I came up with. This is the girl's. The boy's will be the same pattern, just more of a true blue background with greens, oranges, and yellows in the fish. Since there are a lot of seams and some bulk that would be hard to work around, I'm thinking of quilting in gently waving vertical lines. Nothing too difficult or involved to compete with the fish. The tops are being pieced on my FW and will probably be quilted on the 15-91. Added fun, can you find the mistake? I didn't until it was all put together.

Took me a bit, but I finally see it! In fact...it took me several looks to find it! I love it!

Yep, I've got one little fishy doing his own thing with sideways stripes.

I saw that but I didn't think it counted as a mistake

Bennett, I didn't see it till you pointed it out! I bet no one else would have thought that was mistake until you pointed it out either! Very cute little quilt; and, ya know unless we point out our mistakes 99 % of people would never have known it! We are always our own worst critics!

Bennett, I didn't spot it, and looking at it now I wouldn't call it a mistake. It's a variation in the design and it gives the quilt character. It's great fun, a lovely little quilt.
