To get your decals to show up better, underline them in white before using your gold pen, or underline in silver before the gold.. that's how the decals are on the machines!
Thanks Charlee! Yes, that makes sense. I will try white before using a gold pen.

That gal's blog is a fun one to just look through. She is a very talented! I know I couldn't come up with that design, but I'm very happy and thankful that she is willing to share it. I plan to try some of her other patterns. Also the Flickr group is helpful to see what others have done with her patterns.

The mini scissors are buttons that I found at JoAnn's. Fabrics are all scraps.

Charlee that doll looks like she's from the same era as that 301! Love it!

Monica, what a cute mini quilt! I thought those were 'real' scissors until you said they are a button!

Default Aunt May's quilt

I am finally posting something on here even though I use my 301 for all my quilting. I just forget to take pictures before gifting them. It is a quilt that I made for my great-aunt May who is also a quilter herself and was so touched and moved by my gift. This is a picture of the front. She loves pink and butterflies although the cornerstones are cat fabric because she also loves cats.
The 2nd photo is my great-aunt with the quilt. The 3rd photo is the back and yes it's rotated to show the correct view of the back because it was held up sideways. My girlfriend off this board, Sandra, also helped me with the quilt.

You guys have been up to some great projects! Very cute. I'll post one bag I finished. I actually made another one using charm squares, but didn't take pics. These were all pieced on my vintage machines. A combination of several actually and it was quilted on my Coronado. Of course all from scraps:>
