Bennett, the baby will love all the colors. Good job!

AnnieRose FMQ with cheap size 11 sharp needles and so far has never skipped a stitch.

Bennett, very cute. Try the sharps and if you continue to have issues, check the needle to hook placement. I've found a few of my 301's were not timed properly and the needle was too far away from the hook A tiny adjustment made the world of difference.

Thanks Anna. The colors are perfect for fall and I loved the Morris pattern. In fact, I also bought the same fabric in a lovely taupe and blue. Haven't figured out what to do with it yet, but it's here, waiting to be used!

Bennet, your scrappy baby quilt is GREAT! So bright and playful. I suspect the little one will be dragging it around and lovin' it for a long time.

Here is my latest quilt top. I used my Singer lotus and my trusty 301. Lots of seams to match up and sometimes I just wanted to throw it in the corner. But I love the colors in it so I just kept at it. So glad it's done. It's called Ranchers Daughter and the pattern is on the net.

Wow, is that ever pretty! And what quilting you're going to be able to do in all that open space!

I like the look of the border pattern! Very pretty quilt! I don't see any problems. In my opinion, every quilt should have some type of mistake or flaw since quilts take on a personality, or a life. Life isn't perfect (thank God) and neither should a quilt. I'm looking forward to seeing the quilt finished. I love the colors, too!

Crossstitcher, that is a lovely quilt. I love the colors and Delectable Mountains is on my list. I think I have at least two patterns. I had never considering using it just for a border.

Wow Trish I love the quilt! I never thought about using the Delectable Mountain pattern for a border! I made a quilt using that pattern, but never a border! Your quilt is beautiful!

Lovely quilt Trish. Beautiful color choices and old eyes like the fact that it has a lot of open space ... for quilting. So glad you persevered and didn't throw it in the corner!

I was going to ask about the interesting border, but BoJangles has already answered my question. Thanks BJ!

I now have a greater appreciation for the women who sewed before electric and know why their beds weren't as big as ours today :-).

I finally finished my first quilt on my White treadle. It's not perfect . . . by far . . . and much harder to manipulate the machine and material and keep your feet going and the wheel going the right way.

I finished it off by tying it cause I figured it would be easier then trying to quilt it on the treadle. . . it was.

Anyway, here it is.
