If I weren't half a world away I'd buy it.

Wow! I have one but it needs the leather belt to run it. I just wanted the base to put an marble top on it for my FW of which I paid $40 for treadle I guess I should put on CL for cabinet/ machine only?

nwm50,

Watch shopgoodwill.com for your treadle base. Here is one that has already been stripped of it's cabinet:
{ http://www.shopgoodwill.com/viewItem...temID=13946728 } This is just an example cos I see it's all the way across the country from you. But please don't ruin a complete treadle cabinet just to make a table for a FW.

I am in IL, not too far from that e-bay treadle. "IF" I had the purchase price and gas money I'd go get it. But I don't. Hopefully someone who actually wants a treadle machine will go for it and not someone who's gonna make a table out of it.

Come on, they're about $6, and the one that's on it is intact.
