    Look at Frister and Rossman. Very much the same. youtube for threading bobbin.

    yea looks a lot like my F and R. it is a transverse shuttle machine. To the left of the needle is a slide which should be hiding a boat shuttle and a bobbin.Name:  Frister and Rossmann slides b.jpg

    use lots of oil and be gentle. I believe the hand wheel must be turned to a certain place to get it to fully open
