Super job and what a great tutorial for someone wanting to restore one! So far, all of my machines have cabinets, but room might start requiring portable cases, and I do love those!

Well, I do appreciate that. Even with fixing up the one from Caroline I still have three machines without a home.
And one of those is a 3/4 size. None of those cases around here either.

Now Joe, can you figure out how to fix the plastic cases the 185s have? The case is ok but the supports are broken off. You can't nail anything to thin plastic...

I used JB Weld and delrin (sp) (plastic) rods to fix the one I did. I'll get you some pics later today. Not sure how long the repairs will last but so far the JB Weld is holding.
