This is much newer than I usually grab. My GF has been making bras and wanted a foot that handles stretchy stuff well. This has a special presser foot that may do that well. I got it oiled and working and she'll give it a try later. Synchromatic 1215

Nice- but not plastic. This series from Pfaff are aluminum die castings. It may not be as new as what you think. Pop the top off and the mfr. date "clock" is cast in the underside of the cover. The IDT is a neat feature and can be disengaged if desired. If you got the case with it, it has some value as witnessed by the asking prices on E-bay. They ain't worth that much, but around here bring 2-300 $ if in decent condition. Careful with the oiling on the nylon cogs/cams, and around the stitch selector/handwheel end. These really were an engineering masterpiece for their time. Great sewers too.

oldmanquiltes. yea, I knew the case wasn't plastic, but I assumed that many internals were. Didn't get a case,( rats) but a stack of bobbins, fabric and sewing bits. thanks for the nice review. A cat knocked the GF's serger off a table yesterday so it may see service sooner than I thought.

I have the 7570, which is the last German-made Pfaff, I believe. I love it.
