Default Wheeler Wilson 9 Missing Part?

Im wondering if anyone can tell me what part I am missing from my Wheeler & Wilson 9. I've heard either a bobbin race or a Jones Spool but nothing Ive found online can confirm either one. For some reason I'm not able to upload a photo today so I'll have to describe what I have.

On the underside of the machine, there is a concave metal component which is clearly a place for the bobbin case to sit but no retention mechanism. I have the correct bobbin case and bobbins but there is nothin holding the bobbin case in place. Under the bobbin area, there is a horizontal flat metal piece with a set screw in it, I assume whatever part I am missing would attach to that screw.

Indeed a picture would help. I'm not really familiar the W&W 9, but I do have a Junker & Ruh model R that seems to be a combination of W&W 8 and W&W 9. It appears that some have a part that slides out and away from the bobbin similar to the parts (from an old ebay listing)

and some have a latch that goes through the center of the bobbin (from an old vatican.com listing).

We like pictures. In order to post pictures on Quilting Board, you will probably need to reduce or compress the picture to a file size that is smaller than 2MB. How to post images can be found at https://www.quiltingboard.com/attach...020-01-17-.pdf
Don't forget to scroll over to the far right to find and click on the "Upload" button.

I have found that only the big red "Reply" button or "Quote" work to give me the paper clip icon to work for adding pictures.

Some additional info regarding reducing images at post #4 and images for the scroll and upload button can be found at #5 of quilt block ID?

Another way to post pictures can be found at 2021/2022, 2.5” Birthday Swap
And how to use an ipad to post pictures can be found at Uploading photos

Or simply - Make sure pictures are smaller than 2MB
Click on red "Reply" button
Click on the paper clip icon
Click browse - choose picture/s. (only 5 allowed per post)
Once they show up as being loaded, Scroll over to the right side and click on "Upload"
After the pictures show up as being attached, you can close that window and go back to the screen to finish posting your post.

Here are pictures of the bobbin area of a W&W 9 I had. There is a lever that goes through the bobbin case and bobbin and folds over (the lever is standing straight up in the 2nd picture, so you can't see it well).

It is my understanding that not all W&W 9s have the same bobbins/cases, so this may or may not help you.

If you have a 9, not a D9, this one's bobbin area is intact as far as I know. I'm still after a needle for mine so I'm not 100%.
