Received and for the most part in really good condition! Tested all the stitches and all work beautifully. Where I'm running into problems is with the bobbin winder. The hand wheel is stuck, i.e. can't disengage inner from outer. Waiting for husband to come home to see if he can un-stick. Also, the bobbin tire appears to be disintegrating and won't engage with the post to turn. It's hard as a rock, so I ordered a new tire. The spring for the bobbin push thingie (technical I know) also appears to be broken (the little fishhook part). Harder to find, but I found a whole new bobbin winder bit for $18 that included both springs, so bought that, figuring if the bobbin winder was shot, I don't have keep trying parts.

So far so good!

Update. Husband came in and immediately freed the wheel. I told him (a) I started it and made it easier for him and (b) it must've been the unlocking oil I put in between the two wheels.

hooray for you. The oil may have been the key.

That's what I'm telling him - LOL. The bobbin tire is hard and disintegrating. Will be a blast to get those springs back in - UGH.
