Crazy price! Good condition around me would be $250, mint $350.

$800 is pretty steep. For that price I would sell my own and buy myself another one.

It amazes me when people who know nothing about machines, find one that they think is a priceless treasure and that they own the mine. You just so want to call and tell them "good luck with that".

That really is a high price even for our area where they are hard to find.

The person really is living in the past - I have seen the reconditioned, repainted go for very high prices and when the economy was much better, women were paying crazy prices for them. Then the economy tanked, we found out they were not as rate as hens teeth and the prices have dropped considerably. There may be someone out there thinking to buy it as an "investment" but not someone that wants to use it.
