Default singer model #99 needle plate

I was given a nice old black singer #99, looks pretty clean, but missing the needle plate.
Does anyone have an idea where I might get one?

thank you, Marge

No luck when you Googled for it? I got about 1,470,000 results in 0.3 seconds

I got mine at Sew-Classic
http://shop.sew-classic.com/Slide-Pl...-192-32569.htm
She has the spring and screw to hold the cover plate in place if you need them. Plus lots of other neat stuff!

I have no affiliation, I am just a satisfied customer.

Search ebay for an original one. Repros can be found lots of places, but ebay is a good source for parts.

Reproductions are usually Chinese and look kind of crappy. The one I bought (for a 66) was cheap and it did fit, but it was dull and didn't match the original, nickel plated bits like the needle plate.

Doing a search is at the top of the "ask where something is" pre-requisite list and really, is it hard? Which brings me to this (I never get tired of that one)
