Wow! Awesome 66 Red Eye! The decals are in amazing shape! I have one (see my avatar) with Lotus decals. It's my favorite of all my old machines and the one I piece my quilt tops on. These are really fine machines and will last forever with a little love. They make a soothing sound while sewing, and form beautiful, perfect stitches. Be sure to use yours! Every time I sit down at mine to sew, I can't help but say, "I love this machine!".

Know a man who has one of these. He worked for the US Forest service. For the past 30 years it has been used to repaire everything from parashuts to horse tack. He has retired and his wife says it still sews's a good seam. I'd say its a true work horse.

It looks similar to mine that I took today to get cleaned and fixed so I can sew on it again. I am so excited.

Oh, what a lovely one you have gotten. My 66 is just a plain black one, but she has a most bautiful stitch. You are gonna love yours.
