Default Vacation, Civil War re-enacting and shopping

Spent three weeks doing civil war stuff in La and Tx. We hit every store we could find between Al and Tx. I know my wife mapped out all the the antique and thrift shops and flea markets. And there is a bunch of them. We had a great time. I came home with Frister and Rossmann HC, Singer 12 HC and Weed with shuttle, six bobbins and several attachments. My wife found loads of stuff to and the 26ft camper and the back of the truck was loaded. We looked liked gypsies.

Wow, love that singer 12...that's my downfall...pretty decals.
Lucky you and thanks for sharing. If I have ever seen the Singer 12 before, I don't remember, but now I'll know what it looks like.

That second model 12 looks amazing, like it's never been used!

Now I'm wondering what civil war costumes you're going to make on it

I have several costume patterns but they all require about a hundred yards of silk!

Well, now we're all going to want to take a trip like that! What a great job on finding those beauties. Nice that you and your wife share a common interest. Mine is very understanding of mine and I do the same with his "collections!"
