Ok, so there IS a picture...only it's just about as helpful as no picture at all.

At least he doesn't want much for whatever it is.

Something about the no-picture, cheap machine ad made me think of ABBA. Now I have "Take a chance on me" running rampant through my head.

At least on the picture one they actually show the machine, not just a closed cabinet or an open cabinet with the machine down.

Yep...that's the video. At least it's got a good beat to sweep the floors to. I like the line about "when the pretty birds have flown." Who needs a pretty new bird when you've got a good solid old girl?

The second one you posted, the Necchi is not unreasonable for the machine in cabinet. The seller is not asking too much IMO.

I have to agree Candace - seems like a good deal.

Candace, I do agree that it's reasonably priced but DH would kill me and bury me with the ashes and bits and pieces of all my vintage machines if I get another right now, especially one in a cabinet. He has also threatened to start bringing home a Mastiff for every vintage machine I bring home. He wants me to thin the herd which I've agreed to do. Easier said than done when most need cleaning that also need rehoming. Yes he has way more tools than I do sewing machines but I've recognized the need to thin the herd prior to his asking.

O.K...I think we were confused because this thread is basically to poke fun of sellers who have no sense of reality and one of your links really doesn't follow the theme of this thread. But, thanks for explaining.
