I have a Dressmaker just like here. It is a Precision machine made in Japan, 50s or 60s. Go for it Jacquie. It is a little workhorse. For $20 you can't go wrong

I think it is. Those look like the Memphis / Sphinx decals to me, and the faceplate is the same as the one I just replaced on Betty ( a 1913 Model 27)

Nice base but something seems to be missing up top. This one's better left closed.

But Charlee I like the color of the Morse. It is so pretty but just can't see spending $450 for this machine.

Maybe that's one of those special machines for sewing the emperor's new clothes? You know...works really well with invisible thread?

I love that Morse, and for less money, (a LOT less) I'd drive 3 hours to get it...it'd have to sink well below the $100 mark tho...

Ditto here Charlee. $75 would make me go on a road trip. It appears to be the same model as my pink Morse that I am currently working on.

It probably sold - it was a very nice German machine - the kind that the shuttle goes side to side
