$425 for a Sears and Roebuck treadle BASE...no machine. Again, very rare

Very common description around here. I always heard "Singer sewing machine" but I didn't even know there were other brands until I was in my late 20s!

Nah, just run over there and hand them the decent extra cash in your pocket... Make sure it is toy money.

I love the fact that I already have a drawer full of bobbins and needles that will fit it!
I finally took a look at the Singer 15-. It was dusty and had pen marks on it and the cabinet. I forgot to bring thread to test it, but everything when up and down and 'round and 'round where it was supposed to. They wouldn't budge on the price at all. She wasn't whispering for me to take her home, so I walked away.
You can have any design you want. As long as it's loops!

I'd rather meet the people who buy from them. I'm sure they'd be interested in the ocean front property I have for sale in Colorado and the bridge in Brooklyn.

That these keep getting listed is pretty good proof of Bill Gates' dictum: There's a sucker born every minute. Or maybe it was P.T. Barnum but Gates made a lot more money off of it
