I couldn't either. I think I lost brain cells reading that.

Yep. A sowing machine. A machine for sowing. Spreading seeds and making buttonholes. That's the life.

Help! Should I buy this? It might be already gone.

What do they mean by "The machine itself now turns on but doesn't operate through the peddle"? How do they know this? Is it possible to plug the motor in directly, not thru the controller? I'm wondering how much I would have to spend to get it working.

I can't tell if there are any decals left but for $75 it doesn't matter. Also, the spool holder is missing.

SteveH, do you have one? I'd love to get a hand crank or treadle, but they're expensive. I have to check out the needles it takes.

It's a bargain, all right, but why do the idiots all call them "peddles". It's actually easier to spell it right!

I make it no secret that I like Pfaff's. This one is in less than pristine condition and they have the nerve to say,"You will be hard pressed to find one in this condition for this price.". There is another one on CL for about 1/3 this price of $600 and it is in much better condition too. Who are these people?

Grant I don't know who they are but they are EVERYWHERE... ignorant. I home schooled my kidos. One thing I wanted them to know was how to find information they needed and evaluate that information. They are all good at that for sure. I'm afraid schools teach facts and figures and what to think. I taught my kidos HOW to think for themselves. They just don't know much... LOL
