Yes. Double the power. The formula is P= IV where P is Watts, I is amps and V is voltage.
So it is equivalent to a .76 A motor running on 110/120 V

301 needing overhaul, priced at $25. And cabinet leaf appears to be broken. But I would buy it if I lived closer and had a little more space.

Not a bad deal. Those 503s are good machines. Easy to use and maintain. No stitch selector to get all stuck up.

I forgot I had this one, picked it up as a freebie when I bought another machine a few months ago.

That one would make a wonderful HC. You can notch the wheel or buy a spoked hand wheel and put it on. I worry about notching - what if my finger gets caught in the notch. I'm kinda klutzy. Cost for the cord would be cheaper than a hand wheel and a HC. If it needs new wiring, too, it might be a toss up.

Well, at least 2 of the 3 spool pins are missing, one of the flip up ones and the auxiliary one. The one where that spool of thread is may or may not be missing. Not necessarily a deal breaker, but the auxiliary one may be hard to replace.
