I thought the New Willard machines were only produced as treadles.

Cabinet is restored cuz its painted a butt ugly blue and has rulers on the side ~ which they didn't bother to photograph.

Likely electrified sometime in it's history. And Yes, it is a butt ugly blue.

I was going to use a different descriptive phrase other than butt ugly but wanted to keep it cleaner than my first thought.

Perhaps we should start a thread for Butt Ugly painted cabinets. Sort of like don't paint that cabinet when smoking!

I've been admiring the decal in Sideways' avatar and here it is. I would be tempted if I had the space for this, especially since it "would benefit from oiling and use". Actually it looks like it needs to be soaked in kerosene and then parts removed and de-rusted. And the decals might be silvered. Oh well.

Sheluma did you mean my avatar? because that is a Free co. machine. If I were you I would have to try to get it just rescue it I love this decal type so much.
The bobbin winder and other small rusty parts could be soaked in evaporust , the underside looks to be in good shape I bet that is just a lot of smoke and oil residue on the head, a lot of machine oil elbow grease and car wax she would be beautiful in know time.

Yes! Your avatar. It looks like the peacock's breast might be silvered. I would get it if I had the space. I literally have no room.

It's been listed for weeks and he hasn't changed his price. Unless he lowers it to $5 he'll be lucky to get scrap prices.
