She is quite a job, but now at least she is cranking and 99% apart. She had a Kerosene bath yesterday and will do it again soon. That loosened some more screws, so now the hand crank is off and the feed dog cover has been removed.

I also need manuals for her too. :) Thanks for any help.

I forgot to mention, I got her for $11.50. But she needs work!

I am attaching some pictures of her :)
You can get the replacement cord on ebay for anywhere from 8-12 dollars...or find it in a sewing machine supply online. (I got mine from ebay)
Thank you Charlee, I will go and check there.

Hi fellow collectors of vintage machines, remember several weeks ago I posted pics of a very dirty blackside that was given to me with the case painted in an antique red. Well I did some work on the case and cleaned it up to match the cleaned machine. Here is some before and after pics of the case. Glenn

Before

after, all is left is to stencil the Singer logo

Just lovely Glenn! I have a case like that to my latest ...99 it is in need of work. someone I think pried the case off and I am thinking I will have to get some hindge like closures to fix it. I will post a picture of it soon. The 99 is posted a page back. It needs some parts. Hoping she works!

I have a question of my 99... it is from 1924, and I don't see the stitch lever on mine. Did they not have stitch lengths back then?? I have a picture to post for you to see.

See, there is no lever for stitches.

Although not shown she now has a front throat plate thanks to Kitzone. I have been using the machine and it sews really nice. I did wax the the bed to reduce friction on the fabric. I am going to like this machine. Glenn
