I paid $75 for her, too much? neighbor's grandma in law had it most of her life. I put her in vintage machines also, with some other pics. G8913874 serial #. Can I hand crank her? She weighs a lot, not very big tho.

Pretty 128 - and you're right - they are heavy little buggers.

Yes do the HC - very relaxing way to sew. You can take it out on the deck or under a tree or camping. I plan to charge more than that for one I have here.

To hand crank all you need is the hand crank and a screw driver. Unscrew the motor and light. Screw on the HC and you are good to go. I guess if you hate it you can put the motor back on.

So, if ya want it ya better be quick!!!
The seller just sent me this.
"I've thought over your offer. If you still want the sewing machine for $100.00, it's yours. I feel like it will go to a good home:-)"

Too Cool!

Woe is me. I'm trying to figure out how to find a screw. I need one to reset the stitch length controller on a Singer 241-13 It is an industrial. They have 3 possibilities to change the stitch setting - well 4 if you remove the setting thingy. Then at a factory nobody can change the stitch lengths. HMM... I'm thinking I need more information than the manual is giving me. I think I also need a new screw.
