The east coast might be a good thing to do next year if I can talk my buddy in buying a bike. But I do not think we will be gone for the whole month like I am going to do this time. But if I head to the north east I will be sure to look you up!!!

Son dont even talk about hot and its not even August yet!!! It is 9:40 here and its already 86* and the low last night was 79*. So ice cold lemonade sounds like the perfect thing for today!!!!

I have to cut the yard today and trim some bushes if I get time but I am going to take a nap before I do anything!!

That is exactly what I thought Billy. Hubby told me to go ahead and bid on it but with shipping it was up to over $300. I am kicking myself in the hiney for not going a bit higher lol

Oh April!!!! Don't kick yourself in the hiney for not bidding higher!!! Goodness Girlfriend! You only end up with a bruised hiney, and still no machine!!!
There will be another one... ;)
LOL Charlee so very true...It happened for a reason right? That is what I keep telling myself anyway lol

ok, this is my Singer 27. The decals are in excellent condition except for a tiny spot. It's filthy, though. The front drawer on the cabinet was missing a whole side, so instead of repairing it, I just had my husband fix it in place. It came with a puzzle box full of attachments, too, but they're full of green rusty crap that'll need to be cleaned off somehow.

And this is my Raymond Model C. She was pretty gunked up, dirty, some rust, but she cleaned up really well with a little elbow grease and lots of patience. I need to find some replacement drawer pulls. The cabinet has a chain pulley system that lifts the machine out when the top is opened.

It has a vibrating shuttle and takes hollow bobbins. The top leaf tension, which I'd never even heard of before, and that took me ages to figure out how to use properly, is genius in keeping perfect tension.

Charlee, that is the machine I grew up with and learned to sew on. It belonged to my mother and now it is mine. It stays at my Dad's right where it has been sitting all my 58 years ......LOL!

And your photography is wonderful!!

Billy
Thanks, Billy! What's really nice too, I have all the feet for it and the manual.
