Anyone know anything about Vesta sewing machines.....are they known to be good machines or not? Thanks for any info.

Here is the 301A I just bought on eBay for pretty cheap. She's in decent condition, just really dirty, and I had to order power and food controller separately as they were missing. Got her yesterday. Don't have the cords yet, so can't try the motor, but everything moves smoothly by hand, so I am optimistic!!
Anybody know how to do a major cleaning on one of these? I saw Billy's tutorials, but am worried I am going to do something wrong and not get it back together. Thanks!!
BTW, her name is Miss Ida, after my maternal grandmother who was a fabric lover and sewed for her entire family of 8 children clothing and quilts on a farm in central MO.

Billy would be proud - I cleaned, oiled & lubed both my machines. Realized that I didn't know the last time the Featherweight was done. And I've had my Mom's machine for a while now & hadn't done it. Guess it's like a tetanus shot...if you can't remember when you last had one...you need one! Both machines just purrrrrrrrrrrrrr now. :)
Next project is to replace the belt on the Featherweight.
