She'd be a great summer project
Judy, I'd bid on that just to get the 201 if I were close enough to pick it up!

Nancy

Nancy you want the 201 and I want the cabinet! We can't win, can we?
I know... if I lived closer...hmmm ... I'd still try to talk Glenn into bidding on it!! Then we could all appreciate his refinishing tallents!! Glenn.... could you please take a look at this diamond in the rough?
I am looking at it and will be making a phone call. It is only about 100 miles from me. Glenn

Gorgeous, gorgeous 7 drawer treadle cabinet (plus machine) for $150 in Mansfield, MA if anyone is interested. We are supposed to get a snow storm  tomorrow or I would be on the road to go get it (I need another cabinet like a need a hole in the head).

Thank you.
Check out Dave McCallum's website, "Featherweight Rx":

I highly recommend his book. It's really worth the cost of it. I also have the DVD set which is a pretty penny but is also worth it.

Thanks everyone for the info. I found the GoJo cleaner at O'Reillys Auto Parts. It was only 1.89.. So come this week end I will be cleaning and polishing my featherweight.

The singer had some electrical issues and seemed a little sluggish, so I opted to leave that one at the store. The Necchi, that I wasn't really interested in was like a work horse. It was quiet, smooth, kinda like driving a luxury car, so I brought that one home. All that to get to the question: I want to get some cams for it, I've looked on E-Bay the sellers for the ones listed don't know which machine they are for. Are the cams for the Necchi interchangeable or are the specific to each model? I'd appreciate any information. Thanks in advance.

I can't print the URL to this site (for some reason, it won't let me), but if you'll go to the vintagejapansewingmachines site on Yahoo groups and check out message 3495, it will give you some info on these machines.
Thanks Miz Johnny, I'll give it a try.
