Lisa...veneer isn't all that hard..did you know you can get an iron on veneer? It's pretty cool stuff...you can cut it and do "inlay" designs with it...according to my "refinishing friend", it's awesome to work with and fairly easy! I have a cabinet that I'm thinking about using it on.

I'ved never had that particular screw loosen voluntarily; perhaps she "messed with" that as well. And got the tension back right; she had tinkered with both top and bobbin tension and it was some kind of a mess. Glad that is behind me.
