Last Friday I worked 8 hours helping set up, then volunteered at the show Saturday and Sunday, and helped with take down. It is a tremendous amount of work to put on a show. My hat is off to anyone who has ever been the Chairperson for an event like that. I was just one little committee person. Lots of beautiful quilts. I'm hoping for the next show, that I can have a roped off area and display some of my antique Iron Ladies. It won't be for 2 years. I did get a Blue Ribbon in my division, so I was a happy quilter.

OK, I confess (raising hand!!) I'm the chair for our guild's quilt show in January 2012. But I have tons of help, and I was very involved the last 2 shows, so I am pretty confident we'll do OK. :shock:

I left my long screw driver at the shop and the screw is in too tight to get with a skinny little Susy Homemaker screw driver. I was thinking maybe pull the plate and swap it out with the other clone or maybe polish it up a bit - stuck until I come up with some other brilliant idea. The Singer manual I found on line does not match my machine. I wonder if I need a service manual to figure out how to center the needle a bit better in the hole. That needle all but hits the hole.

It even has motor info. I found the adjustment hole and am waiting for DH to come home. I found a screw driver to fit the space. I cut my finger tip pretty bad - it sure did bleed. Bummed out for working on anything for a few days though.

Miriam!! YUCK!! Cuts hurt so bad!! Thanks for that link. Besides my 15 clone, someone gave me a DOA 15 that my DH wants to practice working on. He wants to see if he can get it to move...it's frozen stiff right now. I call it bait to reel him into loving the machines as much as I do!! :thumbup: :lol:
