How would you use this guide? Is it possible to use the curved piece as the guide and follow it? I'm repeating straight stitch quilting and I will have to mark it all with tape or chalk to create the look I'm wanting. I thought the seam guide would be perfect for it. If anyone has suggestions, I'm certainly open to them. I know I'll have to chalk out the stencil, but I was saving that for the outer border. I would rather not SITD a majority of it. I've designed different quilting motifs for each of these little runners I'm making. Without some type of guide, the free hand stuff is about to get much more daunting.

I've never seen one in operation, just read about them. Hopefully, it will have been a good buy ($163) It looks to be in nice condition. Anyway, I suppose I'm just looking for a little affirmation .

I love Rebecca, my 301. She is my go-to machine until I get my 201 up and running - wiring issues. She travels with me if I'm gone for more than an overnight and she stitches so pretty. You got a great price on that buy - wish I'd been so lucky with my price. My Rebecca is a black long bed and I will not part with her. God forbid I should only be able to have one machine but right now she's the one I'd have to choose. I hope this helps you.

Edit: Presser bar maybe. Where you attach it to the machine under the presser foot screw.

This is what it looked like when I FINALLY got it on.

And this one has the seam guide on, and my finger is next to the thing that holds the needle in. It keeps hitting the guide and it won't let the needle go down into the fabric to make the stitch. I'm sure it's operator error, I just cannot get it figured out.

I don't think you are suppose to have that quilting foot with the walking foot on. I thought it was designed to work alone. Isn't it hitting the walking foot?

Did you google Singer vintage quilting guides? I thought the quilting guide for the 66 also fits the FWs.
