Here is the cabinet and the White that I have already restored, sitting pretty. You can see the wooden hole cover at the left of the machine. The treadle irons attach to the bottom of the drawers, so the irons are only about 20" tall. Many of them have been used to make coffee tables, like the Singer ones are used for regular tables.
I don't even want to think about what happens to all those machines that are removed.

I am at the point with my treadles that I only 'want' the treadles now that have a name on them - like the White that says 'White' on the irons, the Davis, etc. I am getting very picky!
Congratulations on your new cabinet - it will clean up really nice!

Now this cabinet is pretty cool! I wonder if it is for a Singer? Anyone know? It would be nice to have a cabinet with a built in chair that does not look like a chair! http://sacramento.craigslist.org/fuo/2736262586.html Anyone interested? I wouldn't mind finding a cabinet to put my 503a into, but running out of space for cabinets!
DH is refinishing the Hales Crescent cabinet - he had to rebuild the top - so I need to save a place for that machine! I am also almost done with the Hitachi refinish, but where oh where am I going to put him? OH My!

Crud!! I so wish I was closer to this one...I *could* have my MIL pick it up for me, except that she only has a little car!! A little more spendy than I usually go for, but this is an EARLY 15!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not sure of the sub-model, but I do know finding one of these is almost like finding hen's teeth!!

Are you saying the 319 drops its feed dogs? I haven't even looked to see if you can drop those feed dogs - at least there is no obvious knob for that on the top of the machine?
