Now Charlee, you told me once what the feet we called for my "New Home" and this has the same kind. Please tell me again so I can write it down this time and then I can forget where I put it!!!
Got to find a needle for it (I hope) and see if I can figure out how to thread it. Then if it works will try to sweet talk hubby to build a case for it.
If any of you know anything about this machine please let me know.

I'm not sure what you want to know about the feet? Are you talking about "top clamp"? Did you check to see if the feet I sent for the New Home would fit this one?

Nope I don't have that Morse anymore! It was one I sold at the Community Yard sale for $40 last week! Very nice Japanese 15 - great machine - I just had to thin out my machines so it was one that I thinned! I have sold or given away 7 machines in the last month - only gained one! I am down to around 50 machines - give or take a couple! Now I can look for more of the ones I really really like!

I've played with it this evening, found a needle and then got brave and stepped on the peddle. It took off like it was going to the races. Had to play with the tension and by the time I got that adjusted I had the foot peddle figured out and could slow it down quite a bit. So no taking this one apart either. The only thing is you can't lower the feed dogs to quilt, but if it is like my Huskystar I can quilt on it with them up. Now I will need to figure out some kind of a base for it. I remember a post on here someplace where someone had built a bottom to put one in. Will need to see if I can find that and then find a place to put this exciting find! Thanks Charlee and if these new feet have a name let me know because they are different.

I have (3) 301s. A mocha long bed and a mocha short bed and a very nice 2 tone. The long bed is in a case the other two have cradles. My sister has 2 or 3 too - I think she got a couple black. I'm not keeping mine. I like my clone better.

Also it is not as deep or it doesn't slide in as far. Clear as mud right???

OK Charlee he measured them and they are so close that even with the magnifying glass we neither one can read the marks (and he just got new glasses) But the depth of each one is different. New Home depth is 3/8 and the Macy is 5/16. Don't go to to much work to figure this out because I will probably only use it for quilting. Would love to do FMQing with it but I figure there is not a foot for doing that.
