Whoopie Charlee, what every girl needs. A pressure canner. I own two of them and 3 water bath canners.

I just finished drafting up the replacement takeup arm for the Early Howe.

It reminds me of a Barbie leg. Seriously, I am looking forward to seeing the finished piece. Nicely done.

I feel like the crazy cat lady of sewing machines...someone gifted me with a very beat up nasty looking Royal sewing machine, electric. It doesn't move well, its paint is in bad shape, its undersides are rusty....looks like it sat in a puddle of water. How do I get rid of it? Are there any parts on it that might be worth keeping? If I'm not going to use it, is there any reason I should try to save it? I hate to say that, but I'm not in love with this machine, but I feel guilty just giving up on it. Any suggestions?

Hi everyone,

Is anyone familiar with the White machines? I am selling a portable on my etsy store. The serial number is FR377231. On the machine the decals say its a White Rotary. I thought the F meant "Family" and so listed it that way. Someone wrote to me and said that is wrong. I have changed the listing, but I am curious if thats really true. Anyone here have an idea?

lol, thanks. Here is the original...

and the correct example i found on an EBay Completed auction

So by knowing my original diameter of the disk part, I could then extrapolate out the rest of the dimensions. I am checking the drawing out against the original tomorrow night.

The Barbie leg would have a more pointed heel.
