At a charity auction about 3 years ago, I donated one, a blackside finish with many blackside accessories, and it went for $30. Less than what I had paid for it but the charity was pleased with the donation of the money. I also agree with the poster who said it's collectible only to someone who wants them.

This seems like a bargain: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Ankar-Aut...-/321482163073
The seller is selling the manual and accessories separately (boo) but looks like all of it for less than $100.

No I didn't remember. It didn't sell at $50 either! Why didn't it sell? Seems very cheap, and Rudolf has one (I consider that a vote of confidence).

I believe Anker and Phoenix were the same company at one time. I have a Phoenix free arm:

And I bought yet another 201-2:

Time to get a storage unit.

Oh, that 201-2 is so shiny and pretty! You can use my house as a storage unit for that machine and cabinet and stool.

Thanks, Judy. Yeah, I was kind of proud of my other one until I saw this one. (It needs a lot of lube because it's really stiff.) I could start a sewing school with all these machines. Too bad I don't know how to sew.

Aw - teach yourself how - it is a useful life skill - if you were here I'd have you sewing in an hour

I could do it in 50 minutes. Do I hear 45?
Kenmore, check out some U-Tube videos, or go by the instructions that are in some manuals. A lot of them have lessons on "how to start sewing" in them. That would give you the basics. With all of the beautiful machines you have I know you must have wondered about it at least a few times.
