Both of mine were found at the local swap meet/flea market. They were both rusty in a pile of other rusty tools. They were $5 each Cleaned up they seem to sell for around $30-50, but I don't sell mine

I also have a set of singer and bernard treadle belt pliers and I prefer the Bernard over the Singer just another in my IMO.

Singer made a little 5-inch long pair too that are kind of handy.

the main reason I like the Bernard better is that it cuts and punches with one step. No need to "align" the holes each time.

Okay, I want one. I don't need it because I only have 1 treadle machine.... but they are really cute and you might need one at some point. So, I'm going to start looking........

Hmm! Neither of the two pairs of Barnard’s that I have (5” & 6”) include that feature. Sounds like a good idea.

me too. not because i need it all the time but i do like tools and this is one of those cool tools to have.
