Default Vintage Singer Boot Patcher

I'm not sure about the model #, but someone in my area (South Sacramento region) is selling this. Does anyone know the model #?

The base is dusty, but the machine is always covered. It supposedly works and she can show you how to use it. She's asking $300 for it, so if you PM me I can try to hook you up with her. I don't know her at all and I know nothing about the machine, but it looks like it's in very good condition. Maybe she'll take offers??

If I had time, money, and space, I would be on that boot patcher like a tick on a huntin hound.

That's very similar to the 29-4 my husband just picked up. He paid quite a bit less, but he got his for a real screaming deal, and $300 is not a bad price for one.

Interesting that the machine is cleaned up but the treadle is not - maybe they had it on a table with a motor . . .

It may not be a "k" machine, but that only designates where it was made, so not a big difference.

Oops, yes probably not a k. I just bought one, and 29s are all 'k' machines here.
You're also right that it makes no difference.

And $300 seems a very good price for one in that condition.

Is yours in as good condition and works? I'm assuming it's straight stitch only and mainly for leather?
