here is a picture of the bobbin area , and after mor-ie asked, I checked and that knob does drop the feed dogs......and I don't have a name yet but am thinking of Benita

It looks like the manual for the 15-30 might be the closest thing for threading, troubleshooting, oiling, winding the bobbins, etc.

It appears to have a solid-sided class 15 bobbin - Jenny at shop.sew-classic.com has these and I've taken to using them on all my class 15 bobbin machines. The heavier weight and the Magic Genie Bobbbin Washers have eliminated the tiny thread nests on the backs of my quilts and the sides of these bobbins are a lot straighter and sturdier than the kinds with the holes in them.

Pretty decals! And nice looking treadle cabinet. IF you haven't googled Sigma sewing machines, do so to see just the few that have been posted- not much. Congrats!!!
