    Yes, that is embroidery. I still do some occassionally. It just seemed to be needed here. Thanks for noticing that little detail I added.

    I didn't look for a few days and look what I find here: lots of gorgeous blocks!

    Bibliostone, your blocks are lovely! I like those petals a lot, I still have to do some work on my block!
    Mary, the colors you used are beautiful! I love all those different shades of blue combined with the purple.
    Jeanine, gorgeous block! I thought I saw embroidery and I was right. I love what you did with the block! Those curved petals are beautiful!

    Thanks everyone for the nice comments. I recieved the fabrics in this months secret pal swap on this site. I thought they were so pretty too.

    A very nice variety of blocks and all beautiful! Sticking with batiks here is mine. I plan on doing something with the center, perhaps embroidery or seed beads.

    Wow Bibliostone those blocks are beautiful... really great. If I had to pick a favorite I think it would be the purples and yellows. The fabric combination just really wows me.

    I like the idea of the seed beads... I love the dragonfly print.. definitely like the idea of the seed beads.. please show us again after you decide which you are going to do.. I would love to see this block when its finished.
