I'm going to try this again, QB and my computer don't play well together. I made a block from this mystery for the boom swap. I still have several more boom blocks to make and another one or two may end up becoming this pattern.

I love that black and white and red block! It is awesome.

While I was just looking over some of the Mystery Quilts I missed and decided to find one to fill the time until the next one! I jumped aboard the #7 mystery and for the past 5 hours I have been reading posts and viewing beautiful quilts! I bought the fabric and I am going to make it, but I know one thing I am going to really try and not miss any more train ride mysteries. They are so much fun! I was laughing and smiling and just really enjoying all the fun!

Judy your train ride mysteries are really awesome! Thank you very much for taking the time to do this for us! Often times I can't get going on my own so I need that extra push!

OH yeah I have been meaning to ask Just Jan, how do you know how many fat quarters can fit in the freezer? I keep thinking if I have enough to test that theory! I wonder how much trouble I will get into if I do

Mary~
Guess it would depend on the size of the freezer and how much food you have to hide them under. LOL

Now this is a true story... When my friend (age 18), who had just just married and had a new baby, found receipts from a motel room registered to Mr. & Mrs.--- from her husband's out of town business meeting--- she began plotting her strategy. She stashed get-a-way money. He traveled a lot and expected her to cook him a full meal when he got home, even if it was late at night. She waited until he was asleep then took a little money from his wallet each time she could. She saved the boxes from frozen vegetables. She put money in a plastic baggie, put it in the frozen green bean box, and then back in the freezer. Another hiding spot she told me about was that she put money in a baggie, wrapped it in aluminum foil, and carefully placed it in the water tank of her commode. She said her husband didn't cook or do anything around the house, so there was no chance he'd find it. When she had saved enough she called her mom, asked her to come pick her and the baby up (she had no car of her own), left and got a divorce. End of story!

That was over 50 years ago. Can't imagine girls now being left in a new town with no job, no car, and a new baby, totally dependent on her husband. Boy have times changed! But I still think of this story and her spunk, and have to laugh to myself. Proves where there's a will there's a way!
