    This was the one I made while glued to the sofa in front of the TV on Royal Wedding day. No white batik (is there such a thing) so I substituted pale pink for my Red, White and Blue block.

    I'm not sure how it ended up so perfectly when your eyes were glued to the tv!! LOL! I love it Lesley...gorgeous!

    Most of it is in the Gallery thread for AOTH - the last pic I posted was missing the last 6 blocks, and then I need to make the final outer borders. I have now made four of those blocks and have only two left to make.

    I really love this block, I like that vibrant red it really zings the block. I donīt know how you had your eyes glued to the tv and do such fantastic work either,tell us the secret

    I don't really know, other than years of practice working in front of the TV. I don't seem to be able to just sit and watch TV, I need something in my hands. Sewing is what I mostly do now, but I did used to do an awful lot of knitting and lace making before that.

    OK...here is my block 6. I thought it was gonna be a nightmare, but it really wasn't all that hard. I'm getting fairly good at the scrolls....Well...here she is.. Oh..nd interestingly enough, the yellow and the orange are both from the same piece of fabric.
