Ok, here it is, I was going to post last night but worked till about midnight. I chose this block because of course, I am preparing to work on fall items and I love the colors that you can pick for something like this. I hope everyone enjoys it. Its hard to think about fall, but since we are burning up here, it will be a relief to see some cooler weather!

I'm safe right now. There are about 6 fires close to here but not a threat to where I live. The smoke is going to get me first!! I just have to stay inside and sew, sew, sew!!

I love the maple leaf. Now for colors. Hmm. A pink leaf? I think not! We'll see what I come up with. This ought to be interesting.

Thanks for that Tricia, looks like a fun block to do, am really getting into this BOM to the point where I can't wait for the new block to go up

Yvonne: I don't see why you can't do it in pinks to go with the rest of your blocks, it would look choice. I am going to do mine in brights to go in Grandsons quilt. remember there aren't any rules or police, is your quilt, so if you wanna make it in pinks, go for it :D

Well here is mine...up and running made 2 I will put into a tablerunner.
Yvonne....I think of it more like Barbosa, from the movie...."it's more like guidelines" go for it in pinks! Once you put it together, you may find you have a maple flower!
