I know the feeling! I kept messing up a Scottie dog block that way. One of the pieces even made it into the final product somehow. Have to fix it.

Oh--Wow! Thank You!!! So generous in your compliment!! These blocks are a real challenge for me. I'm thinking I would like to enter the quilt --if I get it finished in time in the County Fair next July.

Sure to be a winner, everyone I show my blocks too, can't believe how small they are and how many we have to do, and for someone who doesn't like scappy or piecing I am really enjoying the journey. my poor embroidery unit is feeling pretty left out. Machine in for servicing since yesterday, so will work on making some bow tuc purses on the old Singer till it gets back.

Hi Qbird, I would like to try my hand at doing a bow tuck purse. I'm trying to remember where to purchase the pattern. Where did you get your pattern from? Anne

I just typed in bow tuck purse the designer is Penny Sturgis--and used whatever came up, don't remember the link, did see the pattern at a quilt shop today. If you can't find it will pick one up for you and send it. I am making the tote which is 13x11x5, and the purse is 11x10x5 I believe, when I bought mine didn't realize there was 2 sizes, they are easy to make , decided to make a bunch for xmas. you are up late, only 10PM in Arizona

I actually enjoyed making these two blocks, but I did have to split my seams to press them so there wasn't so much bulk. Paper piecing is a quilter's friend when making small blocks!

But an unplanned bloody nose is not a good thing. It happened to me last Thursday, although the ambulance drivers and ERs personnel were great in action, I rather not do that again. I look ready for Halloween without a mask: swollen face and plugged left nostril nose. Looking forward to it coming out on Monday afternoon. Still cleaning spots of blood here, or having it done. On complete rest for a week, may even quilt more today or tomorow. On number 38 block and having fun. Love seeing everyone's blocks.

Hello,
I am new to this discussion, but have been following you all from the beginning. I am trying to catch up by working on the current week's blocks and completing 1 or 2 more from the past each week. Do you want me to post photos into the past weeks? My plan is to use at least a little cream in each of my blocks regardless of the other colors. Happy Quilting! P.S. I love all of your finished blocks!
