It's so nice to re-visit these blocks and see the great work you Ladies have done, long before I travelled this trail! I'm still smiling away at JanRN's "Little Stinkers!"
Here's my Miller's Daughter, though I was more thinking of OKSGlad and her love for acorns, squirrels and chippies!

I had to get that yellow in there somehow, somewhere!
Confession time! I had a much nicer version done with a dark blue with stars in light blue, medium as well as the rust and some metallic gold. Same colour placements ............. and as I finished it up, I realized there was NO yellow!! And I'd scrimped and saved to have enough of the stars to get it done. Being that I wanted the chippies/squirrels and acorns in the same block, I started to do a 2nd one, with the dark blue I used ............ and OMG I had skipped the yellow again! Not too late though, and added the borders. The yellow just didn't want to fit into the mix here!

Well you certainly redid your block to perfection and get the squirrels/acorns in. Won't be long now and the dogs will be barking like crazy in the rock outcropping the other side of the lane where the "chippies" hang out under the oak trees. Squirrels are too scared to come into the door yard! Thanks for thinking of me, QE.
