You, Dublb, are in our thoughts and prayers...we are there for you in our virtual RV, just grab the marshmallows and we will all have a BIG group hug {[(wish)}] with you!
Enjoy your grandchildren and children, Honchey. I think you are a lucky person be able to give them their personal hugs...and hold them close to your heart. We do not get to see ours very often.
Carrie, I am so happy you get some time in your sewing room; and GG, too, getting projects done there...everytime I think I can, dh has 'projects' for us to do together...reminding me its time to 'entertain' him...ro be that 'extra' hand. Like this morning, trimming guinea wing feathers so they will stay on the ground in the yard area. Choosing cookie recipes this morning for the Santa menu, and he starts reading off recipes that he is interested in, not what I thought I was going to do...got one choosen....Billy Goat Cookies. Not too worry, no Billy Goat included in the ingredients... but there may be one in every crowd... that rams through to grab that gift your were looking at as you do your Christmas Shopping...or cuts you off with their car in traffic!! Bless them, and thank the Man above you are not them!!

My dear friends, with great sadness I come to you tonight. My DS and DDIL went for their check up to the hospital today and they have to make an impossible decision. One of the twins isn't going to survive but they don't know how long he will live. If he dies the other twin might survive but it's also possible he won't. If he does he has a real change of being disabled, either mentally, physically (spelling?) or both. If they wait and do nothing they might end up with nothing at all. It's possible to terminate the twin pregnancy without doing harm to the third baby but that has to be done within 6 weeks from now. So now they have to decide but it's clear they won't have triplets.
My DS asked me when he walked me to my car what I would do but I can't tell him. I don't know what I would do, it's almost impossible to make that decision. Please keep them in your thoughts. No one should have to make such decisions.

Oh, Anael! What a sad situation. I'm praying that you DS and DDIL have wisdom and in the end, great peace at the end of this journey. Special strength for you as you support them in whatever they decide.

Anael, I worked OB/Gyn for over 20 years. I wish I had some words of wisdom for you as I have seen this tragic situation, unfortunately, too many times. No one but the mom and dad can make the decision. If they have to call and talk to their doc every day, encourage them to. The more information they get the better they'll be able to make the decision. Pray, cry, rant, think..the range of emotions and thoughts is vast. I want to hug them, and you, and hope things work out. It's so hard to see our kids hurting and not be able to fix it. Sending lots of prayers & positive vibes to give you all the strength to deal with whatever the outcome is. Stay strong--they will need you.

Oh Anael, I'm in tears over your situation. This is just awful! It is in God's hand, and I know He will guide your children to make the best decision for those little ones. Praying for you and for Dublb DGM also.
