Default The FWS Pony Club WK 21 Blocks Gold Nuggets & Gretchen Photo Page

I first fussy cut the 2 sides then decided to do a "landscape".

Thar's Gold Nuggets in them thar hills. A milk cow was worth it's weight in gold during the Gold Rush days...I think??? Anyway here's my version of this week's block. one of them anyway...H,

Honchey---I like your block much better than mine! Great fussy cutting/landscape!!

I like my Gretchen. Gold Nuggets hasn't been squared up so it looks a little off, but at least this time I have the extra fabric to make it the right size!

Here are my blocks for the week:

Honchey, I love your scenic cows! And your colors, CarrieM. I tried to "reorganize" Gold Nuggets and tell a ranch story with Gretchen...four different ranch brands...
Wonder what the ranchers did with all their "used" horse shoes?? My nephew makes them into rockers and other items and sells them on internet.

Beautiful blocks as usual from everyone.
Here are mine for this week, I thoroughly enjoyed making Gretchen as I have made a full Gretchen quilt. I started it in a workshop with Kaye England back in 2003 when she was touring Australia so lots of great memories of a wonderful lady and tutor.

Everyone has done a great job on these blocks. I will be helping my 10yr old dd get her binding on her quilt tomorrow before I can sew. She is trying to finish so she can take it to the 4-H/County Fair.

I just got an email from Blank Quilting and have to share the link to one of their new lines called Round Up II: http://www.blankquilting.com/blankqu...age=/index.php
